Indigenous Resilience Festival

On Sunday, March 26, the Indigenous Resilience Festival (IRF) will take place at the Rotary Centre for the Arts (RCA) from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The free community event will showcase "Indigenous Elders, youth, leaders, artists, and entrepreneurs sharing knowledge on their challenges that lead to triumphs." Presentations from more than 40 participants from Indigenous communities throughout BC will include dance, storytelling, music, and more. Empathic Leadership

Join this 1-hour workshop, presented by BC's Hub for Workplace Mental Health, to learn more about navigating emotionally challenging conversations and applying effective communication tactics to address them successfully. The online session, which takes place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., is free to attend, but advance registration is required


Matrices: Trans, Non-Binary & Agender Digital Connect

Pride at Work Canada is inviting trans, non-binary, and agender professionals and jobseekers to the sixth instalment of Matrices on March 28 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. PDT. The free networking event will include a brief address from guest speaker, Pri Bertucci (they/them), about the history of Portuguese neutral language and pronouns, as well as some of the content of the Neutral and Inclusive Language Dossier. TIAC's Ask an Expert

Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) Members and Associate Members are invited to the next Ask an Expert session, taking place virtually on Wednesday, March 29. The 1-hour session will focus on the "ways your business can become more inclusive to the LGBTQ+ travel market by addressing the needs of both your internal team who identify as LGBTQ+ as well as potential LGBTQ+ customers." Navigating LGBT+ Diversity & Inclusion in the Tourism Industry

Tourism-related businesses are invited to join the CGLCC on Thursday, March 30, to "learn about LGBT+ inclusion and how to effectively understand, value, and serve LGBT+ customers and employees."
