In support of wineries in 2024, this program focuses on driving traffic and business to Central Okanagan wineries. Targeting key demographic and geographic audiences, this collaborative approach will highlight the exceptional quality of the wine and wine-related experiences in our destination.
The program includes:

- Guaranteed mentions in #exploreKelowna blog articles
- Content plan will be determined & sent out once program participants are confirmed
- Guaranteed mentions on Tourism Kelowna social media channels
- Content plan will be determined & sent out once program participants are confirmed
- Advertising on the digital displays at the Kelowna Visitor Centre
- Paid social media advertising through Tourism Kelowna channels
- Opportunity for wine tasting pop-ups at the Kelowna Visitor Centre during BC Wine Month (April)
- Inclusion in the #exploreKelowna check-in style Wine Pass
- This is an update from previous years, so winery participants know when the pass is being used.
- Prizing will also be updated in 2024 to encourge more check-ins
- Inclusion in quarterly wine specific consumer email newsletter
- Content collection by a local creator for use on social media and blogs
- Tourism Kelowna will choose a creator to gather 5 to 10 photos and/or video clips from each business
- These assets will be used to help market each winery on social media and in blog articles.
- Invitation to two winery meetings (spring & fall)
- Sponsored content and advertising with local media outlets in winter
- Sponsored content and advertising in relevant media outlets in Western Canada like:
- BC Touring Guide by edible Vancouver & Wine Country (April)
- Vancouver Magazine
- Avenue Calgary
- Final advertising plan will be base on budget and will be determined & sent out in time for spring winery meeting
