As a dog-lover and pet parent, I know how important it is to bring your furry friend along with you whenever you can when travelling and exploring. Below is a list of as many pet-friendly spots I could think of to bring your furry friend while you #exploreKelowna. Please keep in mind, animals (with the exception of service animals) are not allowed in/near food services areas.

**Only bring your pet along if they are well behaved, and always keep them on-leash & pick up after them. Never leave them in a hot car!**

Breweries

Most breweries in Kelowna have patios that are pet-friendly. Great news for me because brewery hopping with my dog is one of my favourite activities. Best of all, it can be done any time of year due to our mild climate in the winter!

Wineries

Lots of winery tasting rooms welcome your furry pal to join you! Other wineries offer outdoor tastings or have spaces designated for pets, such as a picnic area, so you can all enjoy the Okanagan views while sipping.

All wineries listed below welcome dogs outside in non-food areas.

Cideries

Wander the orchards with your pet and taste the refreshing, crisp ciders of the Central Okanagan at these local cideries.

Coffee shops, Restaurants & Cafes

Sipping on a morning coffee with your best friend is a great way to start your day. While this isn't an exhaustive list, below are some patios that welcome well-behaved pets. Know of more? Send an email to marketing@tourismkelowna.com and we'll add it!

And, don't forget, Kelowna has dog beaches and off-leash parks that are great places for fun and to help keep them cool on hot summer days. Lastly, with all the hiking trails in the area, you're never far from a heart-pumping climb or casual waterside stroll.
