As the third-largest metropolitan area in BC, behind only Vancouver and Victoria, there are always activities and events happening in this vibrant and beautiful city. Regardless of the time of year, there are numerous 2SLGBTQIA+ activities happening, plus hiking, boating, skiing, farm to table dining, or touring the over 40 wineries are all just minutes away.
Explore downtown Kelowna’s cultural district to see colourful galleries, amazing concerts, and shows. Take a walk along the rainbow crosswalks at the hub of Kelowna just one block away from Bernard Avenue, which is a must-visit area for the local shopping and food scene.
One of the best ways to experience the 2SLGBTQIA+ culture of Kelowna is to visit during one of our Pride events. In mid-June Kelowna Pride week welcomes thousands of attendees annually and is a fun and safe way to celebrate the diverse and accepting community of Kelowna. And traditionally in April, head to SilverStar Mountain Resort for Peak Pride, an event celebrating the 2SLGBTQIA+ skiing and snowboarding community.
