Virtual ProPride: Beyond Equity Towards Justice
On Wednesday, July 14, from 9-10:30 a.m. PDT, Pride at Work Canada, in collaboration with Black HR Professionals of Canada, will be hosting a virtual panel discussion focused on "how to create a just working environment for LGBTQ2+ employees where they feel not only tolerated, but actively celebrated." Unicorns.LIVE offers live-streamed, unedited content focused on arts and entertainment. Here are some of their upcoming events:
- The Black Phone podcast sees three Kelowna locals come together to "challenge controversial topics with the goal of progress." The next edition, Let's Talk Sports, will air on Monday, July 12 at 6:30 p.m. PDT.
- On Wednesday, July 13, tune in at 6 p.m. PDT for the next edition of Two-Spirit Tea with Ella and Simma, where they will "discuss alcohol and drugs, their effect on Indigenous peoples in regards to colonialism, and the intergenerational trauma caused by such things."
