The BC Hospitality Foundation (BCHF) is once again hosting its #HospitalityHustle, this time in the form of a 40-day challenge, running from April 19 to May 29. The event is being held to generate awareness of the work BCHF does, promote positive lifestyle choices, and raise funds for the programs that the Foundation delivers. Hiring with Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) in Mind

Talent MATCH and Talent 4 Non-Profits will be co-hosting this complimentary virtual session on Tuesday, April 26, at 3 p.m. PDT. Guest speaker, Akanksha Thakur (she/her), Project Lead for ACE-WIL’s EDI Resource Hub and the EDI Program Manager at TransLink, will introduce the EDI Hub and provide information on inclusive hiring. Advocacy in Action: Business Support Virtual Roundtable

Small Business BC (SBBC) Virtual Awards Gala

SBBC will be handing out its annual business awards in a virtual ceremony taking place on Thursday, April 28, from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. PDT. Admission to the event is free but advance registration is required. Visit the SBBC website to learn more and to register. 


Peachland Business Excellence Awards

Celebrate the best of Peachland at the Business Excellence Awards on Saturday, April 30, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. PDT. Tickets for the events, which will include live entertainment and a food-truck style 'Taste of Peachland,' are $75 and can be purchased through the Peachland Chamber of Commerce website
