You're invited to attend Tourism Kelowna's Industry Forum on Tuesday, May 9, at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Grand Okanagan Resort, for a day of connection and learning.

Throughout the morning, you'll hear updates from Tourism Kelowna's team and subject matter experts on a variety of topics. In the afternoon, Tourism Kelowna's 2022 Annual General Meeting will take place, followed by a networking reception, where industry and community members can reconnect in person. 

Registration for each individual session, the AGM, and the industry social must be completed separately—you can attend one, several, or all of them as it fits your schedule.


Schedule of Events:
  • 9–10 a.m. – Destination Development Deeper Dive 
    • Join Tourism Kelowna's Director of Destination Development and Kelowna's City Manager for a deeper dive into the recently released Tourism Destination Development Plan and its corresponding recommendations. 
       
  • 10:15–11:15 a.m. – Workplace Hiring with go2HR
    • ​Join Ginger Brunner, Manager, Industry Human Resources for go2HR, for this hour-long session with insights and recommendations on workplace hiring and workforce development. 
       
  • 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. – Sustainability Panel
    • ​Join a panel of local experts to talk about all things sustainability. 
       
  • 12:30–2:30 p.m. Break
     
  • 2:30–4 p.m. – Tourism Kelowna 2022 AGM
    • ​Attend the AGM for a review of the Tourism Kelowna Society's 2022 year. Tourism Kelowna voting members are invited to vote on annual business.
       
  • 4–6 p.m. – Industry Social
    • Light refreshments will be provided.
