Located in the heart of Kelowna's Cultural District, the Centre is a focal point in the growing downtown area, a place where people of all ages can meet, be inspired and learn about the arts. The Centre houses the 326-seat Mary Irwin Theatre, resident artist studios, pottery studio, galleries, dance studio, meeting rooms, box office, bistro and more.   • Description Rotary Centre for the Arts, a distinctive space for special events, theatre, visual arts and music, officially opened November 2, 2002. This $6.8M project was funded by the City of Kelowna, the Province and the Federal Government. There have also been significant individual contributions, along with donations from special interest groups. The Centre was named after the Rotary Clubs for their extensive fundraising efforts of $350,000. The Rotary Centre for the Arts is a 44,000 square foot building. The beams are part of the original city owned Growers Building. We have 8 artist studios with artwork for sale.
