OC Cultivates
Join Okanagan College (OC), CBC, and industry experts on Tuesday, November 28, for a panel discussion exploring the unique characteristics of the region’s food and beverage businesses. Attendees will also learn more about how the Okanagan is striving to become a globally renowned gastro-tourism destination. The discussion takes place from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Seating is limited, so register now on the Okanagan College website to reserve your spot.

Tiny Tim Toy Drive
The Coast Capri Hotel will host the 23rd Annual Tiny Tim Toy Drive on Wednesday, November 29, from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.. Bring a new, unwrapped toy or cash donation to the event, where you'll then be treated to a complimentary hot breakfast buffet. An added incentive is available this year: guests who check in between November 15 and November 29 can contribute a new, unwrapped toy to receive a voucher for the Farmer’s Breakfast at Vintner’s Grill. Self-Care Social
In partnership with Kelowna Community Resources and Okanagan coLab, Okanagan Young Professionals (OYP) Collective is hosting a Self-Care Social on Wednesday, November 29, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The drop-in event will take place at Okanagan coLab, with activities including meditation, yoga, boardgames, and more—there will even be an ice cream buffet! Admission is free, but advance registration is preferred.
Tourism Kelowna Holiday Mixer
Join Tourism Kelowna's team on December 5 for its annual Holiday Mixer, this year taking place at the Kelowna Yacht Club. Tickets are free, but spots must be reserved in advance. The event is nearing capacity, so visit Eventbrite to secure your tickets now.
Greater Westside Board of Trade (GWBT) Mingle & Jingle Lunch
Don your favourite holiday attire for GWBT's Mingle & Jingle Lunch, taking place at Kelly O'Bryan's in West Kelowna on Thursday, December 7, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 and include a festive 3-course lunch, plenty of networking, and holiday cheer. Visit the GWBT to purchase your tickets.
Tech the Halls
On December 7, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Avantage, Accelerate Okanagan, The Innovation Centre, Spaces, and OYP Collective have teamed up to host Tech the Halls, where Okanagan community members will enjoy festive food, drinks, live music, and plenty of holiday cheer. The Jingle Mingle Ugly Sweater Fashion Show will close the event, so wear your ugliest holiday sweater to get in on the fun. Donations for the Central Okanagan Foodbank can be made when purchasing your ticket or bringing non-perishable food items to the event. Tickets are $30 each and include two drink tickets; visit the Trellis website to purchase.
Uptown Rutland Business Association (URBA) After Hours
The final URBA After Hours event for 2023 is set to take place on Wednesday, December 13, at Norman's Diner. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased through the URBA website.

Small Business BC (SBBC) regularly hosts live webinars and provides access to on-demand learning.
