Kelowna has become a food destination with more and more delicious restaurants opening every year.  Here are my top picks for those with delicious gluten free options on their menus.

1. The Table Café at Codfathers Market

If you enjoy fish and chips, Korean fried cauliflower, fish tacos, lobster and crab boil's, their gluten free menu will have you going back often. They have a dedicated fryer so no need to worry about cross contamination. Fish and Chips lovers have the choice of choosing from one of four types of fish. This restaurant is off the beaten track and a favourite with the locals. They are open Tuesday to Saturday 11:00 am - 7:30 pm and are located just off of Gordon Drive in Guisachan Village Centre.

2. Oak + Cru Social Kitchen & Wine Bar

Their menu includes a great selection of delicious salads, gluten free chicken strips, and woodfire flatbreads. This a great place to dine on the patio along the lagoon while sharing all of your favourite bites with a glass of wine. They have a dedicated fryer and use dedicated pans for their flatbreads. Oak + Cru is located inside the Delta Grand Hotel and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

3. Sunset Bistro at Summerhill Pyramid Winery

The Sunset Bistro at Summerhill offers not only great gluten free options that include delicious pastas, but my vegetarian and vegan friends also have great selections to choose from. Many of the fresh ingredients in their dishes come from their own on-site garden. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, and the view of the lake, mountains and city that you while you eat is pretty amazing.

4. Central Kitchen + Bar

Located in Downtown Kelowna on Ellis Street this locals favourite is always buzzing. Whether I’m there for brunch, afternoon drinks or dinner there is rarely an empty table. Their menu has a great selection of gluten free eats including pan fried fish tacos, burgers, deep fried calamari, and pizza. Note: they do not have a dedicated fryer so the calamari and fries might not be an option for everyone. They are open for lunch and dinner daily and brunch Saturday and Sunday.

5. Lakeside Dining at Hotel Eldorado

Sitting on patios is one of my favourite things to do in the summer, add in a patio located on the lake with gluten free menu options and we have a nice place to enjoy a summer evening with friends. The El has great gluten free sandwiches, salads, flatbreads, seafood, and burgers are gluten free if you are inclined to add some of those to your lakeside bites. The El is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily with the boardwalk patio open for lunch and dinner.
