Congratulations, Shereen!
The entire team at Tourism Kelowna is extending well wishes to our Travel Media & Communications lead, Shereen Abbas, as she heads out on maternity leave starting this Friday, February 28. Shereen has been handling our local media initiatives and travel media program since joining the team in 2022. She will be on leave through to Spring 2026. Welcome, Lindsay!
We're fortunate to welcome Lindsay Kelm to the Tourism Kelowna team to carry on our work with travel media and lead our communication efforts. Lindsay has 20 years of marketing and communication experience in the tourism industry, specializing in food, wine, and major event sectors. She has strong relationships locally, provincially, and nationally with media and partner groups, and we're excited to have her skills as part of our team.
While Shereen and Lindsay have been working on the handover of duties, Lindsay's first official day with the team will be March 3, 2025.
