Easy Access to Okanagan Lake
Planning to launch your boat on Okanagan Lake? Kelowna offers several convenient public boat launches that make it easy to get out on the water. Whether you’re heading out for a day of fishing, wakeboarding, or cruising, you’ll find access points throughout the city and surrounding areas.
Popular boat launches include the Water Street Boat Launch near downtown, offering central access and nearby amenities; the Cook Road Boat Launch in the Lower Mission, with ample parking and a wide ramp; and Cedar Creek Park for smaller boats seeking a quieter launch spot.
These are unsupervised launch sites, so be sure to check seasonal water levels and current conditions before arriving. A Pleasure Craft Operator Card is required to operate any motorized watercraft in Canada.
