The fourth annual Love for Kelowna Day took place on Saturday, May 27, 2023. As the first year with zero health restrictions, our team took the first step to make the day bigger and better by adding more in-person activations and offering Tourism Kelowna Members the option of participating in the day's events.

As part of Love for Kelowna Day 2023, 24 Tourism Kelowna member businesses provided special offers and/or deals to the public. From Peachland to Lake Country, residents and visitors could take advantage of specials on wine tours, two-for-one tastings, event discounts, and so much more. These offers were also included as part of a fun bingo-style challenge that encouraged participants to explore throughout the region—congratulations to Jess O., who took home the prize.

In addition, the offers were promoted through Tourism Kelowna's social media accounts from May 20 – 27. The corresponding Love for Kelowna Day website landing page received over 3,500 pageviews, with over 3 minutes spent on the page, providing exceptional exposure to participating businesses.

Love for Kelowna Day started in 2020 as a way to encourage area residents to support local, explore their favourite places, and share why they love Kelowna while travel was on hold. Now, Love for Kelowna Day connects residents and visitors with more tourism businesses and showcases the value of tourism in our community. The feedback and response to the day have been overwhelmingly positive, and we can’t wait to make it all bigger and better next year!
