If you're passionate about the Okanagan and want to support upcoming events in and around Kelowna, we've got the perfect opportunity for you! We're currently recruiting enthusiastic locals to join our Community & Visitor Engagement volunteer team to help welcome visitors and support a number of exciting major events happening across the community this season and beyond.
Our mobile visitor servicing team has supported a number of major events in Kelowna, including the 2025 Montana’s Brier, Country Music Week 2025, and the Curling Olympic Qualifiers. Volunteering with Tourism Kelowna gives you the opportunity to be part of exciting events like these while also supporting community-focused festivals, activations, and celebrations throughout the region.

About Tourism Kelowna's Volunteer Program
As a volunteer with Tourism Kelowna, you have the flexibility to support a variety of locations and experiences—along with attending community events and festivals like those listed above, you can also volunteer your time to connect with guests at the Kelowna Visitor Centre in downtown Kelowna or at our Kelowna International Airport Kiosk. Most shifts are approximately 4 hours long, with a minimum commitment of just one 4-hour shift per month. In addition to supporting events throughout the community, we also host a variety of activations and events directly at the Kelowna Visitor Centre throughout the year.
Volunteers also enjoy additional benefits as a part of the role, including:
- Exclusive tours and experiences with local businesses and organizations.
- Meaningful community connections and networking opportunities.
- Volunteer appreciation events, recognition, and gifts.
- Access to select Tourism Kelowna-hosted events and activations.
