Earlier this week, Sara Correa transitioned to Tourism Kelowna's Business Development team. Having honed her skills servicing our region's tourism businesses while overseeing stakeholder programs, Sara will now use her skills to recruit and promote sports tournaments and events in our community.
Over the past four years, Sara has cultivated strong relationships with stakeholders in the region and used her strong marketing background to lead a number of exciting initiatives and projects, including the launch of Tourism Kelowna's passport program, the creation of Tourism Kelowna's relocation advertising package for our first-ever relocation guide, and the sales of digital display advertising at the Kelowna Visitor Centre.
All of Sara's existing skills and experiences will serve her well as she works to actively recruit events for the Central Okanagan. Sara's solid understanding of our community and the specific opportunities and gaps venues have when welcoming event attendees will allow her to build on Tourism Kelowna's past successes in the sports and events realm.
Sara will continue to support the tourism businesses in and around Kelowna as she oversees both the sports and events and stakeholder programs' business development roles. Those that have had the opportunity to work with Sara over the past four years will know that her warm and authentic nature will contribute to her success in this new role
Please email Sara at firstname.lastname@example.org to connect with her and to congratulate her on this next, exciting step in her career with Tourism Kelowna!
