In early October, the Tourism Industry Association of BC (TIABC) and the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA) are partnering to host a Roundtable Series within the Thompson Okanagan. 

Kelowna and area tourism industry members are invited to participate in the following session:

  • Date: Wednesday, October 8, 2025
  • Time: 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
  • Location: Fusions Restaurant, Okanagan College - Kelowna Campus
  • Note: A light breakfast buffet will be provided.

The roundtable discussion will center on tourism policy, issues, and opportunities, with attendees encouraged to share the obstacles and prospects facing local businesses in the community. The sessions will help shape actionable solutions that strengthen the tourism sector within our region and across British Columbia. TIABC and TOTA will use the feedback gathered through the roundtable sessions to inform their collective efforts and shape future policies and initiatives. 

Additional sessions within the region include:

  • Penticton: October 7 | 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Kamloops: October 8 | 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Blue River/Valemount: October 9 | 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
