The rollout of our refreshed brand earlier this year provided the perfect opportunity to revamp and recalibrate some of our Marketing Programs, transitioning our previous flavours and trail-themed programs to our new "Must-Visit Spots" Program. The revamped program focuses on key sectors, including Wine Spots, Foodie Spots, Farm Spots, Culture Spots, and Sip Spots, with the opportunity to expand into other sectors if demand arises.
So, where have the Spots been promoted so far this year? In addition to being showcased on our website and through our owned and shared channels, the collaborative approach of these programs has enabled us to reach a wider audience with a high intent to travel and an interest in each of the specified sectors through various advertising initiatives.
Here are some highlights:
BC Touring Guide
In the spring, a six-page spread was included in the 2025 BC Touring Guide by edible Vancouver & Wine Country, featuring our Wine Spots partners and highlighting what each of their properties has to offer visitors to the area.

Western Living Spread
We collaborated with Western Living to create a five-page print piece (pictured below) featuring Wine, Foodie, Sips, and Farm Spots, to promote all the great things Kelowna and its surrounding communities have to offer during the fall season. The content was repurposed into three separate online articles and syndicated to BC Living, then also promoted through both outlets' social media channels and e-newsletters.
Kelowna10 Videos
To reach a regional audience during the fall season, videos promoting Farm, Foodie, Sip, and Culture Spots are being rolled out in collaboration with Kelowna10. These videos are posted on social media and their app, and supported through digital advertising to increase the reach and engagement.
VIA Article
Culture Spots have been highlighted in a sponsored article, supported by digital display ads, social media, and newsletter promotions, in Vancouver Is Awesome (VIA) to connect with audiences in the Lower Mainland.
Farm Spots Brochure
We've started creating new collateral, aligned with Kelowna's refreshed brand, to be distributed to residents and visitors at the Kelowna Visitor Centre and through Tourism Kelowna member businesses. The first print piece to be created was for Farm Spots, with additional pieces for the other sectors scheduled to roll out in 2026.
