Our team is excited to relaunch the #exploreKelowna Savings Pass and is inviting Tourism Kelowna Members to participate in this local initiative. The pass will launch on November 1, 2023, with offers available until March 31, 2024.
Benefits to Participating
- Drives foot traffic: Passholders will be able to redeem special offers and discounts to incentivize them to visit participating Central Okanagan businesses.
- Free marketing tool: Tourism Kelowna will be actively promoting and marketing the pass to residents across social media platforms, our website, newsletter campaigns, and paid advertising through local outlets.
- Brings new business: Marketing tactics will encourage residents to explore new places and businesses in their community.
Requirements to Participate
If you would like to participate, we ask that you provide a discount, special offer, or package that pass holders can redeem at your business. Discounts or specials are required to provide exceptional value that will encourage locals to explore from Peachland to Lake Country during the shoulder season.
Some examples that were popular in last year include:
- A free coffee at Sprout
- ComplimentaryTasting for Two at Mt. Boucherie Estate Winery
- 20% off of suites at The Royal Kelowna
- Free cider tasting at Soma Cidery
Connecting with other local businesses to create packages is also encouraged.
Previous versions of the Savings Pass were very successful, with nearly 3,000 pass-holder sign-ups and 869 redemptions (29% redemption rate).
