Taste Around 2026 is almost here, running from January 21 to February 8. This annual event, presented by the BC Restaurant & Food Services Association (BCRFA), encourages visitors and locals to explore the Central Okanagan's food scene. Over 50 restaurants in and around Kelowna—recently named Canada's only UNESCO City of Gastronomy—are participating this year, and there’s still time to add your accommodation packages to the Taste Around promotions.

Accommodations that submit packages will receive exposure through January and February in the following places:


How to Participate

Accommodators do not need to have a restaurant, but are encouraged to create promotions like:

  1. Discounts using a Dine Around promo code
  2. Weekend packages with nearby restaurants
  3. A Dine & Stay package if your hotel has a participating restaurant, such as a Taste Around Meal for two and a 1-night stay
  4. Option to add on spa packages

Offers can be valid through the winter or only during Taste Around from January 21 to February 8, 2026.

All participating businesses must also supply two $25 gift cards (or gift certificates/e-cards) for marketing purposes. The gift cards or certificates must be valid until December 31, 2026. Restrictions can apply as your business sees fit. Aside from supplying gift cards, there are no additional costs for BCRFA members to participate in the festival.

If your business is not a BCRFA member, there is currently an exclusive offer for Tourism Kelowna and Kelowna Hotel Motel Association stakeholders—register at the reduced price of $150 + tax, which includes the first year of membership with the association.
