Frozen and Iced Drinks
The frozen and iced drink category is constantly expanding, thanks to new trends and creative folks who dream up cool sips, like the ones you’ll find in Kelowna.
- For something light and refreshing, choose from sips like milk or fruit bubble tea at Palgong Tea or Earl Grey Lemonade from Deville Coffee.
- Discover summer in a glass with inventive cocktails and mocktails at spots like Ask Pablo, Born to Shake, and The Ricco Room.
- Amp up the summer fun with the assortment of frozen wine drinks, like wine slushies at Blind Tiger Vineyards, frosé at Little Straw Vineyards, or Chardonnay Slush at Home Block at CedarCreek (it’s not on the menu, so don’t be afraid to ask about it when you’re there).
Cool Treats
Finding cool treats to beat the summer heat is a must when visiting Kelowna, and these local establishments make it a delicious adventure at the same time.
- Get a scoop (or two or three) of handcrafted, premium ice cream from Parlour Ice Cream, which also has gluten-free and vegan options to choose from.
- Fun creations are the name of the game at Karat Chocolate + Pastry Boutique, where every Sunday, you can cool down at their Ice Cream Social, featuring their signature soft serve.
- Sandrine French Pastry & Chocolate is scooping its delectable, handcrafted French gelato into freshly baked croissants to create an unforgettable summer treat.
Creative Blends
Find decadent drinks that blend ingredients you might regularly indulge in on their own at these Kelowna spots.

Screamers
Half slushie, half soft serve ice cream (or whatever ratio of the two your heart desires), Screamers are a fun and delicious summer treat! Although they didn’t originate in Kelowna—sources say they were first spotted at Mr. G’s convenience stores in Prince George—Screamers can be found in several area convenience stores and shops, including:
- One Stop in downtown Kelowna, Rutland, and across the highway from Kelowna International Airport
- Most of the Circle K locations in the region
- Sonic Wash Express in West Kelowna
