The 2026 BC Tourism Industry Conference is taking place in Kelowna from March 4 to 6, and event organizers are seeking additional volunteers to help welcome delegates and ensure the event runs smoothly.
The conference will bring tourism leaders, innovators, and decision-makers from across the province to Kelowna. Volunteers will be the welcoming faces of our city, offering that first handshake, that first smile, that first sense of belonging.
Available positions include:
- Setup support
- Registration support
- Wayfinding
- Gala support/check-in
For students, early-career professionals, or those exploring a career shift, volunteering provides an opportunity to:
- Gain insight into BC's visitor economy.
- Network with industry members from around the province.
- Experience supporting a large-scale industry event.
Shifts are 4 hours long, and volunteers are welcome to attend conference sessions before or after their shift. This does not include the Awards Gala on March 5 unless it is part of your assigned volunteer shift.
If you have questions about the opportunity before signing up, please reach out via email.
