Kelowna is proud to have secured the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games 2028 (SOCWG), marking an exciting milestone for the community. Planning is now underway, with the Games Organizing Committee (GOC) being established in collaboration with Special Olympics Canada (SOC), the City of Kelowna, and Tourism Kelowna. The next key step is recruiting a dynamic General Manager to help lead this landmark event to success.

The General Manager will be responsible for executing all elements of the SOCWG, in addition to elevating the event for the athletes, coaches, families, friends and volunteers. The position is based in Kelowna. The General Manager will be integral to building a GOC team comprising staff and volunteers who will deliver the Games.
