Applications are now open for the 7th Okanagan Angel Summit. This annual investment event brings startups and investors together to connect, grow, and shape the future of BC tech.
The 8-week program, hosted by Accelerate Okanagan, seeks to:
- Help companies learn about the capital raising process and how to effectively build relationships with prospective investors.
- Provide investors with training to actively learn how to vet companies, provide feedback, and perform due diligence in helping to support early-stage companies.
The Okanagan Angel Summit fosters a culture of innovatoin, mentorship, and investment, all of which helps strengthen's our region's repuation as a thriving business community. This reputation and the success stories built from Kelowna's entrepreneurial ecosystem also allow our team our team to showcase Kelowna as a top-tier destination for business events.
We encourage any tourism-related start ups to apply to pitch—the first 25 companies who submit their application before March 14 will receive an exclusive one-on-one investor review and feedback session. The cost for companies to apply is $150.
The 24 quarter-finalists will have the opportunity to gain access to capital, mentorship, and a network of investors eager to support local growth. Quarter-finalists will be required to pay an additional $200 program fee.
