This summer, Kelowna was proud to take part in the Venue Series: 40 Days / 40 Sites program, which ran from June 20 to July 30, 2025. This exclusive initiative invited meeting and event professionals to complete 40 virtual site visits in 40 days, connecting with destinations and venues across North America and offering them a chance to win incredible prize packages along the way.

Throughout the program, our team connected with meeting and event planners from across Canada, including Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, and Quebec. These professionals represented a wide range of industries, including corporate and business services, legal and professional services, fintech, healthcare, and professional associations. They brought extensive experience in planning conferences, retreats, and incentive programs.

In the virtual meetings with these planners, we highlighted how Kelowna is a destination where business meets pleasure, thanks to its stunning natural surroundings, versatile venues, and welcoming community. Kelowna continues to inspire meeting and event professionals seeking a destination that blends productivity with possibility.

Several of our local partners also took part in the program, showcasing the unique venues and experiences Kelowna has to offer, including:

Our Taste of Kelowna prize package highlighted the region’s vibrant food and wine culture. This curated collection included award-winning local wines, a beautifully crafted Okanagan cookbook featuring recipes from top chefs, and a variety of artisanal culinary items such as handcrafted preserves, locally blended spices, and small-batch chocolate—bringing the essence of Kelowna’s farm-to-table lifestyle directly to participants’ kitchens.
