As the top Canadian city every foodie should visit, Kelowna serves up an array of delectable eats at its more than 400 restaurants. We’ve rounded up 5 of the city’s newest dining spots that you’ll want to add to the itinerary of your next trip!

Derrick’s Steakhouse

Housed in one of downtown Kelowna’s historic brick buildings—formally home to RauDZ Regional Table—Derrick’s Steakhouse sets out to deliver a “sophisticated twist on the traditional steakhouse experience.” The 5-course Chef’s Menu changes daily, showcasing the best of the Okanagan. For those travelling as a family, the Young Gourmets menu serves up kid-friendly options that will appeal to developing palettes.

Kin & Folk

From its original location in Penticton, Kin & Folk has expanded to Kelowna, having opened its doors in mid-May 2025 in the former Krafty Kitchen + Bar space. Chef Zachary Chan developed the restaurant’s menu to showcase modern Asian cuisine, with share plates like Korean Fried Bao Buns, noodles and rice dishes like Mr. Chan’s Family Fried Rice, and handhelds like the Ginger Beef Double Double Burger. Don’t miss out on the delicious dessert options, either!

Morso

Head to Morso, located downtown on Ellis Street, for quick, Italian-inspired eats, perfect for a casual dine-in experience or for a beach day or picnic at one of Kelowna’s many parks. Menu items include panino sandwiches, focaccia pizza, and fresh salads. Be sure to pair your meal with a locally made Farming Karma soda or with something from their Refresh Bar.

TABLE NINETEEN

Located at the Okanagan Golf Club, TABLE NINETEEN in Kelowna is the restaurant’s third location, having opened in May 2024. Chef Prasad Chavan and the restaurant’s culinary team are crafting its flavourful menu items with locally sourced ingredients, while also pouring local craft beers and wines. On warm days, be sure to request a spot on the patio, which overlooks the 18th green!

Wildling

Wildling, which opened in mid-February of 2025, is one of the city’s newest restaurants, focused on elevating humble ingredients, paired with natural wines from small producers. Located in Kelowna’s north end, the restaurant serves up small and large plates meant for sharing. Diners can choose from Wilding’s À la Carte menu, which changes with the seasons, or their Carte Blanche menu, which is a family-style tasting menu that changes daily.
