Beginner to advanced trails available
Knox Mountain is extremely popular as an easily accessed mountain biking area in Kelowna. You can take the Apex Trail (Intermediate; 1.6km) to the top of the mountain or bike up the paved road (Easier; 3.8km).
Popular down trails include:
Simpson Trail
Downhill only; Intermediate; 724m long
Includes rollable jumps and table-tops.
Shale Trail
Downhill only; Intermediate, with optional advanced features; 2.2km long, can access final 900m berm section from paved Knox Mountain Drive.
Includes gap jumps, rock-rolls and sharp berms. Most features have roll-arounds, except berms.
Balsamroot Bluff Loop
Downhill primary; Intermediate; 1.8km
Includes steep uphill and downhill switchbacks. Optional advanced trail parallels this trail.
