The Apple Bowl is a multi-purpose stadium located at the Parkinson Recreation Area in Kelowna, British Columbia. It is the home of the Okanagan Sun of the Canadian Junior Football League. The stadium seats 1,054 in the grandstand, and an additional 1,200 on aluminum bleachers.
The Apple Bowl is also commonly used for track & field events and includes the following:
- Fully-equipped 8 lane IAAF certified 400m track and stadium
- Two shot put, one hammer, one discuss, and one javelin throwing areas (approved by BC Athletics)
- One high jump and one pole vault pits (approved by BC Athletics)
- Two long jump pits (approved by BC Athletics)
- Competition warm up areas
- Press box with state of the art PA system and communications equipment
- Covered spectator bleachers/seating
