If you believe that the best videos don’t just show a place—but make you feel it—then you’re going to want to follow Oli Eds. His cinematic captures of Kelowna’s lakes, mountains, and golden-hour moments are designed to do exactly that: bring you right into the heart of the Okanagan and stir something inside you.

Originally from Australia and raised in Calgary, Oli made Kelowna his home in 2018, drawn in by the tight-knit community and the endless natural playground that surrounds the city. “I love the process of turning a vision into reality,” he says. “Capturing moments, creating stories, and making people feel something through my videos—that’s what drives me.”

Oli’s creativity is deeply influenced by his passions. Whether he’s playing hockey, swinging a golf club, boating across Okanagan Lake, or sitting by a campfire with Zach Bryan playing in the background, every moment he experiences feeds into the stories he shares. “Instead of just telling people to live every day like it’s their last,” he explains, “I try to create videos that hold that message.”

For Oli, life in Kelowna is about connection—to the people, to the place, and to the simple joys that make each day unforgettable. “The community here is amazing, and having mountains and lakes right in your backyard is something I’ll never take for granted.”

If it’s your first time visiting Kelowna, Oli has three simple pieces of advice:

  • Find a lookout: “Catch a sunset or sunrise and see Kelowna from above—you’ll fall in love instantly.”

  • Get on the water: “Boating on Okanagan Lake is a must-do for the full Kelowna experience.”

  • Sip your way through East Kelowna: “Take a wine tour—you’ll find incredible views and even better wines.”
