BC Interior Jazz Festival

This year’s event falls on April 10th, 11th, and 12th, 2014, and is held once again in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. The BC Interior Jazz Festival hosts Jazz Bands, Jazz and Combination Choirs, and Jazz Combos over the three-day event, and remains one of very few competitive (ranked) festivals in Western Canada. visit website

Great Okanagan Beer Festival

Nestled on the beautiful beaches of Okanagan Lake and right in the heart of the city of Kelowna, Waterfront Park will become host to 30+ breweries, pouring beers from across North America and the World. Great Okanagan Beer Festival will be a three day festival, offering patrons a mix of exclusive cask events, beer and brewing seminars, and a beer sampling main event pouring for an estimated 2,500 beer drinkers on Saturday, May 9th 2015. visit website

Fat Cat Children’s Festival

Truly a community event, the festival is funded locally and operated by volunteers. With an exciting array of free activities and entertainment, the festival attracts more than 15,000 children, parents, and grandparents every year. Spring & Fall
There are three Wine Festivals held in the Okanagan Valley with many events taking place in Kelowna.  Sample award-winning wines.  Attend an educational seminar. Parks Alive!

July & August
This non-profit program brings a touch of art and culture to Kelowna’s lakefront and parks in July and August.  Throughout the summer, Parks Alive offers a variety of music and entertainment the whole family can enjoy. Center of Gravity Festival

The Okanagan’s biggest adrenaline-fueled sports and music festival is back for its 7th year, this time on a brand new weekend. Monster Energy Center of Gravity will return to Kelowna’s City Park, July 25 – 27, 2014. Wet Ape Productions is proud to bring Canada’s Hottest Beach Festival back for another action-packed year of sports, sandy beaches, bikinis, and some of the biggest names in popular music today. visit website

Kokanee Salmon Festival

A free event for the entire family on a Sunday in mid-September every year. The event occurs at Mission Creek Park. The Kokanee Salmon Festival is a celebration of the land-locked salmon and coincides with their yearly return from Okanagan Lake to spawn in our rivers and streams. It's a chance for people to learn about the salmon life cycle and the important role they have in our natural world. visit website

Hopscotch Festival

The Hopscotch Festival, held last year in September, was an immense success! More than 5000 people from around The Okanagan attended to taste, sip, and learn about hundreds of different products. Ranging from 20 year old Scotch Whisky to different spirits to craft beer from around the province to delicious food, there was something for everybody. visit website

Okanagan Food & Wine Film Festival

The Okanagan Food and Wine Film Festival focuses on the food and wine industry in British Columbia with a spotlight on the Thompson Okanagan region. The film festival will capture foodies, wine enthusiasts, farmers, culinary experts, sommeliers and documentary film fans to Kelowna. All films will be screened at the Mary Irwin Theatre in the Rotary Centre for the Arts, 421 Cawston Ave., Kelowna, BC. visit website

Uptown Rutland Scarecrow Festival
