Fat Cat Children’s Festival
Truly a community event, the festival is funded locally and operated by volunteers. With an exciting array of free activities and entertainment, the festival attracts more than 15,000 children, parents, and grandparents every year. Every year a theme is promoted to inspire unique and interesting activities, costumes, and entertainment.

Okanagan Wine Festivals
There are three Wine Festivals held in the Okanagan Valley with many events taking place in Kelowna. Sample award-winning wines. Attend an educational seminar. Parks Alive!
This non-profit program brings a touch of art and culture to Kelowna’s lakefront and parks in July and August. Throughout the summer, Parks Alive offers a variety of music and entertainment the whole family can enjoy. Plus, it’s free.
