Winter Ski, Stay, & Play 

Kelowna becomes a magical wonderland during the winter months when snowy blankets cover the vineyards and orchards, and the city turns into an outdoor playground. When the snow flies, mild valley temperatures beckon families downtown to ice skate by the lake at Stuart Park. Couples head to any of our 30 wineries open in the winter to admire the sparkling vineyards and sample some of Canada’s finest wines. At higher elevations, skiers flock to Big White Ski Resort to experience champagne powder snow.
