2 Days in Kelowna

WINTER

A little bit of snow is no reason to stay at home or indoors!  Kelowna's mild winter temperatures make it easy to get outside and enjoy the great outdoors, go winter wine touring, or shop at the boutiques in Pandosy or downtown.

Day 1

Quails Gate Winery: Winter Vineyard

For a cozy stay, choose Eldorado Resort for the beautiful views of the snow-covered mountains from a lakeside room at the Manteo or Hotel Eldorado.  Delicious dining and craft drink options await at Lakeside Restaurant and the Whisky Room. For lunch savour perfectly paired dishes featuring local ingredients at Old Vines at Quails’ Gate Winery while you take in the snow-covered vineyard views. Then, spend your afternoon on a winter wine tour.  In the evening, visit downtown Kelowna and ice skate lakeside at Stuart Park or walk along the Waterfront Boardwalk before finishing your day at Raudz Regional Table with a delicious made from scratch dish, or choose something from their seasonal menu.

Day 2

SilverStar Resort

Start your day with a stop at Bliss Bakery, Sprout Bread, Bean Scene, or Bright Jenny for delectable savoury or sweet grab-and-go options, plus all manner of caffeinated beverages. Then it's time to head into the hills and experience that famous Okanagan Champagne Powder! Big White and SilverStar both offer exceptional downhill experiences, with on-site mountain hosts that can help you make the most of your day on the mountain. Or, if skiing or boarding aren't of interest bring your own snowshoes or try fat biking, plus both ski towns have fun dining experiences available. End your day with an apres at the Whisky Room at the Hotel Eldorado and you've got yourself a perfect winter day.
