Indigenous World Winery opened in 2016 as the second Indigenous owned winery in BC. The wine shop is conveniently located in Westbank, just off Highway 97 and minutes from downtown Kelowna. Experience world-class VQA wines and indigenous culture while taking in a beautiful view of Lake Okanagan. The modern facility features a wine tasting room, native themed gift shop, picnic area and indigenous inspired restaurant.

Inspiration for the Indigenous World concept comes from owners Robert and Bernice Louie’s love of their people and pride in their aboriginal heritage. The goal is to create an aboriginal themed destination that showcases indigenous people in business while highlighting the culture and traditions of indigenous people and the lands they are connected to. Indigenous World Winery is the first of many operations being developed that are also set to include a craft distillery, entertainment facility and potentially guest accommodations.

Winery – The goal was to create world class wines that showcase the land which the Syilx people have lived on for thousands of years.
