The Capital News Centre, or CNC, is one of the most diverse sporting facilities in Kelowna for minor and adult sports. The centre includes two NHL sized ice surfaces, a seasonal leisure ice surface, two indoor artificial turf fields, an indoor running track, and fitness room. The facility is home to many different leagues and tournaments including, hockey, figure skating, speed skating, indoor soccer, etc.
The rinks have four dressing rooms each for teams and one each for officials and there are two meeting spaces available. The CNC is completely wheelchair accessible. Rink One offers seating for 800 people and Rink Two for 200.
Additionally, the facility includes a range of amenities such as a large lobby with concession, a physical therapy clinic, Mission Fitness Centre, and Boomer’s Bar & Grill.
