In May, Tourism Kelowna partnered with Mission Hill Family Estate to host Calgary meeting planners for an evening reception. The goal was to continue to build relationships and keep Kelowna top of mind as a corporate and incentive meeting destination. I’m thrilled to say that we’ve started to see results from that sales event. Last month we welcomed a corporate VIP client event resulting from the reception. Attendees were flown into Kelowna for an evening where they participated in wine tours at Mission Hill Family Estate and Quails’ Gate Estate Winery, and then treated to an amazing dueling Chefs dinner at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort & Conference Centre. The event was so successful that the company called to rave about the experience and is already working on plans to repeat the event and come back to Kelowna again. Way to knock their socks off Kelowna!
