In March, Tourism Kelowna’s Calgary-based sales contractor, Nicolle Gomez de Sousa, accompanied by ten Tourism Kelowna stakeholders took Calgary by storm, visiting 43 clients from 11 offices in three days. The group delivered formal presentations but also had an opportunity for more casual networking as well. A professional photographer joined the group and provided new head shots to each of the clients as a thank you for meeting with us.
Aside from further developing our relationships with Calgary based planners, the mission provided insight into this soft market with most companies expecting a full rebound in 2016. Some companies have even been given the go ahead to start planning for 2016 events so keep your eyes open for new opportunities soon.
