Tourism Kelowna hosts cooking class for Calgary-based meeting planners.

Getting some meeting planners to experience the fabulous farm-to-table cuisine and locally made fine wine we offer here in Kelowna can be a challenge but not for Tourism Kelowna’s Calgary-based Business Development Consultant, Nicolle Gomez de Sousa.  On Tuesday, December 3rd, Nicolle hosted ten Calgary-based meeting planners along with some local stakeholders at the Cookbook Company in Calgary.  They donned their Kelowna aprons and got to work, sipping Mission Hill wine and preparing a five-course wine paired dinner.   The event allowed Nicolle and our partners to chat one-on-one with some clients in a relaxed and fun setting.  It was excellent evening and resulted in rave reviews for the food, wine and the company.  Nicolle will be working on some events throughout the next year, so for all our 2014 M & IT Partners, we’ll be advising you of more dates soon.
