Tourism Kelowna's Winter Program Has Launched

Our first winter co-operative marketing program has launched and is inviting travellers to come and ski, stay, and play in Kelowna. The co-op marketing program is a joint effort with Big White Ski Resort, 10 local acommodators, five tour companies, and 16 participating wineries.
Tourism Kelowna enacts a number of marketing tactics in an effort to drive travellers to Kelowna and encourage visitor spending and participation in many destination activities and attractions. Our earned-media strategy works to showcase Kelowna as an urban, lakeside, culinary capital, surrounded by agriculture and natural beauty, perfect for year-round exploration.
Tourism Kelowna is pleased to share that Melissa McCluskey has recently started a new role within our organization. Putting her knowledge of Kelowna and area's accommodations, attractions, conferences, and events to use, Melissa will use Tourism Kelowna's social media and communication  channels to inspire travellers to choose Kelowna as a must-visit destination and provide information to our stakeholders, industry, and community.
Television personalities, elite athletes, travel and adventure photographers - even four-legged friends: travel influencers come in various forms but all have the same opportunity to help drive visitation to a destination. Over the past few months, Tourism Kelowna has had great success working with influencers to showcase our destination and its many attractions.
Tourism Kelowna's fall advertising tactics are rolling out this week. With key objectives to generate awareness of Kelowna as the perfect fall getaway and drive travellers who have already demonstrated an interest in a fall vacation to choose Kelowna, our fall advertising tactics will run from September 10 through to October 31.
