Tourism Economics is hosting a free webinar on Wednesday, September 23, at 10 a.m. PDT, where experts will weigh in on topics related to cities including overtourism prior to COVID-19, potential undertourism after COVID-19, and the role of cities as destinations and travel hubs.
Funding and Resources for Inclusive Employers

Top 40 Under 40 Virtual Celebration
The Kelowna Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a virtual celebration on Wednesday, September 30, from 12-1 p.m. PDT in recognition of this year’s Top 40 Under 40 honourees. Register through the link above to join in the celebration.
BCMA Virtual Conference
The BC Museums Association will be hosting its first-ever virtual conference from October 6-8, 2020. All events are free; however, advance registration is required.
Business Excellence Awards, Nominees Virtual Event
Nominees for the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce’s 33rd Annual Business Excellence Awards will be revealed at an online event taking place on Thursday, October 8, from 12-1:15 p.m. PDT. Advance registration is required.

Destination British Columbia (DBC) is hosting a series of free webinars focused on digital marketing:

- October 7: Get Your Local Business on Google Search and Maps

2020 TIAC Tourism Congress
Registration is now open for Tourism Industry Association of Canada’s (TIAC) first virtual Tourism Congress, which will take place on November 17 and 18, 2020. Registration is free, thanks to the partnership and generous support of the Government of Canada and the Canadian Experience Fund.
