This is the final week of SBBC's free education month, presented in partnership with WorkSafe BC. The remaining seminars taking place are:

Lunch & Learn: Sncewips Heritage Museum Tour
On Tuesday, June 29, from 12-1 p.m. PDT, learn more about the history and culture of the syilx/Okanagan people by joining the Okanagan Young Professionals (OYP) Collective for a virtual tour of the Sncewips Heritage Museum. Registration is free and can be completed through Eventbrite.
Re-engaging Volunteers in 2021 and Beyond
Join KCR Community Resources on Tuesday, June 29, from 1:30-3 p.m. PDT to learn more about how to successfully recruit, engage, and retain volunteers, with a specific focus on those aged 55 and up. Learn more about the workshop and register on the KCR website.
Indigenous World Winery Tasting
Celebrate National Indigenous History Month by joining Ryan Widdup, the spokesperson, manager, and sommelier of BC's only 100% Indigenous-owned winery, Indigenous World Winery, for a virtual tasting. The event will be broadcast via Instagram Live at 5:30 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, June 29, and will include a Q&A session.

On Wednesday, June 30, from 10-11 a.m. PDT the Canadian Chamber of Commerce is hosting an online session to provide small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with information on how they can become climate leaders and make their way to carbon neutrality. Pride in Recruiting
Hirewell is hosting an online session on Wednesday, June 30, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PDT where a panel of experts will discuss "the unique challenges that face members of the LGBTQ+ community when it comes to job searching and interviewing" and provide information on how those who are hiring can address these unique challenges.
