Destination Canada's Annual Public Meeting

Destination Canada will hold is Annual Public Meeting virtually on Wednesday, December 2, from 10-11 a.m. PT. The meeting will include an overview of the organization’s strategic priorities for 2021. Learn more and tune in on Destination Canada’s dedicated online platform.  

 

Tourism Industry Association of BC (TIABC) Annual General Meeting

TIABC is hosting its AGM virtually from 3-4 p.m. PT on Wednesday, December 2. Keynote speaker, marketing and tourism industry strategist, Greg Klassen, will talk about the impact of COVID-19 on global tourism. Register to attend by end of day on Tuesday, December 1.

 

Indigenous Tourism BC (ITBC) Labour Series

On Wednesday, December 2, from 2:30-4 p.m., ITBC will host the final session in its labour series, focused on the future of labour in Indigenous tourism. Panelists will include:

Presidents Group is hosting a day of learning on December 3 for International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which includes three webinars:

Accelerate Okanagan is hosting an information session about its DER3 program on Thursday, December 3, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT. Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy (CERS) Q & A Sessions

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is hosting a series of Q&A sessions to answer questions about the Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy (CERS):

  • English Language Sessions: Friday, December 4, and Wednesday, December 9, 10-11 a.m. PT
  • French Language Sessions: Monday, December 7, and Friday, December 11, 10-11 a.m. PT

Building Resilience to Thrive

Building Resilience to Thrive

The BC Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the University of Victoria, Gustavson School of Business, will be hosting a 6-week program to help businesses mitigate the impacts of COVID-19. Registration is now being accepted for the two intakes, which will be offered from January 12 to February 16 and again from February 24 to March 31. Learn more and register online.
