Scaling for Success Workshop Series

The first session in this four-part series, Focused Marketing: Targeted Effort, Tangible Results, takes place on Tuesday, November 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PDT. The interactive session, presented by Women's Enterprise Centre (WEC), is open to everyone and offers pay-what-you-can options. Next Steps in ReconciliACTION

Individuals who've attended at least two sessions of kinSHIFT and Purppl's four-part Elements of Truth series are invited to join the Next Steps in ReconciliACTION program, which consists of four sessions taking place from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT on November 2, 9, 16, and 23. BCRTS Tourism Summit 2021

On November 3 and 4, the BCRTS Tourism Summit 2021 will deliver workshops and panels centred around the theme, Reimagining the Future of Tourism: Rebuild, Reframe and Rethink. The interactive virtual Summit is being hosted by the British Columbia Regional Tourism Secretariat (BCRTS) in collaboration with the Global Sustainable Tourism Council. The event is free for tourism industry stakeholders and registration can be completed online


Board Bootcamp 101: Introduction

Learn more about the non-profit sector and the role of Board Directors in this virtual bootcamp session hosted by KCR on Wednesday, November 3, from 4 – 6 p.m. PDT. New Faces on Campus: Empowering Learners, Supporting the Region

On Tuesday, November 9, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. PST, the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its next Okanagan College Series session as an in-person luncheon. Taking place at the Coast Capri Hotel, attendees will hear from Lesley Cormack, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Principal of UBC’s Okanagan campus, and Neil Fassina, President of Okanagan College, who are both "newly at the helm of their respective institutions."
