On Monday, November 28, fruit tree and grape growers are invited to join an in-person workshop "to increase their ability to assess and address risks using a comprehensive approach to managing risk on the farm." The free session, which will take place at Soma Cidery in Kelowna, is being presented by Farm Management Canada and the Government of BC. Tourism-related businesses are invited to join the CGLCC on Tuesday, November 29, to "learn about LGBT+ inclusion and how to effectively understand, value, and serve LGBT+ customers and employees." On Thursday, December 1, Accelerate Okanagan will host a free information session about its 2023 OKGN Angel Summit, "a 10-week program designed to educate startup companies from across Western Canada and Okanagan-based investors." The first annual Miracle on Okanagan Gala is set to take place at the Laurel Packinghouse on Friday, December 3. Proceeds from the fundraising gala will go towards purchasing holiday care packages for Okanagan care facility patients, which will be distributed on December 24 and 25. The Kelowna Chamber is presenting its next Business Smarts session in partnership with Valeo Health Clinic.
