Greater Westside Board of Trade's Business After Hours
Join the Greater Westside Board of Trade at Holroyd Chiropractic on Thursday, November 17 for their November Business After Hours event. Truth and Reconciliation: Where are we now?
Westbank First Nation Elders, Pamela and Grouse Barnes, will be presenting a 3-hour virtual workshop in conjunction with the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association's Indigenous Tourism team. The workshop, which will take place November 22 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., will provide attendees with a glimpse of the syilx / Okanagan Peoples' worldview and history, as well as the impacts and current state of truth and reconciliation. Tickets are $30 and space is limited—visit the event website to register.
Life Sciences BC Showcase Event
Learn more about the research and development being done in and around Kelowna at Life Sciences BC's showcase event, taking place on Tuesday, November 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event, which will feature a wide range of guest speakers, will take place at Delta Hotels by Marriott Grand Okanagan Resort. 35th Annual Business Excellence Awards
The Kelowna Chamber will be presenting its 35th Annual Business Excellence Awards on Wednesday, November 23, at Delta Hotels by Marriott Grand Okanagan Resort from 5 to 10 p.m. Awards will be handed out in 16 categories, including Excellence in Tourism, sponsored by Tourism Kelowna.
