CDM Summit Kelowna

On Thursday, May 23, business owners and marketers are invited to learn more about digital marketing from industry leaders at the CDM Summit Kelowna. Held at UBC Okanagan from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the summit will offer insight into industry trends from speakers and panel discussions. General admission tickets include morning refreshment, all sessions, a light lunch, and access to the after-party. Okanagan Angel Summit Finale

The 6th annual Okanagan Angel Summit has reached its finale, with 6 finalists ready to pitch to an audience of community members, for the chance to receive an investment of $195,000. The finale takes place on Thursday, May 23, at the Kelowna Innovation Centre. Tickets to attend the VIP theatre experience are sold out, but those interested can still join the waitlist to attend the viewing party
 

Love for Kelowna Day 2024

The 5th Annual Love for Kelowna Day is set to take place on Saturday, May 25, paying tribute to the tourism industry in the Central Okanagan and celebrating all the amazing things our area has to offer residents and visitors.  

Numerous local businesses have partnered with Tourism Kelowna to offer one-day promotions. There will also be activations at the Kelowna Visitor Centre, where visitors and locals can enter to win a fantastic door prize. Learn more about the day here

2024 BC Chamber of Commerce AGM & Conference 

Kelowna is set to welcome the BC Chamber of Commerce for its annual AGM & Conference, taking place May 28 to 30 at the Coast Capri Hotel. The conference theme for 2024 is Innovating for Impact; learn more and register here

In conjunction with the conference, the Kelowna Chamber is hosting Passport to the Okanagan at the KF Centre for Excellence on Thursday, May 30. This event will allow local Chamber and community members to connect with Chamber members from across the province.


How AI is Changing Access to Talent

Accelerate Okanagan and TMG Search Canada are inviting local employers to a session at the Kelowna Innovation Centre on Wednesday, May 29, to learn how they can use AI to access talent. The session will take place from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Find out more and register through Eventbrite.


Managing Crisis Communications | Building Resilience in Hotels & Resorts

The BC Hotel Association (BCHA) is hosting the next installment of its Fast Track Your Future Education Series. The sessions, co-facilitated by Hatch Hospitality and tartanbond Communications, will focus on managing crisis communication, with the following course schedule:

  • June 11 | Strategic Responses
  • June 18 | From Reaction to Recovery
