Applications are now being accepted for the next intake of Destination BC's (DBC) Tourism Digital Academy, which will kick off on March 28. The Tourism Digital Academy is an 8-week program designed for business owners or marketing team members who are looking to build their digital marketing knowledge and skills to an intermediate level. Your Indigenous Engagement Strategy Matters in Tourism
As part of the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Resiliency Program, the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA) will be hosting this virtual workshop for those in the tourism and hospitality sector. Join in on Tuesday, March 29, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. PDT to learn more about building "successful Indigenous engagement strategies and relationships." Tickets are $21 and can be purchased online here.
Sharing Your Sustainability Story: A Conversation With Tourism Industry Leaders

Indigenous Women's Leadership Forum
On Wednesday, March 30, the Women in Leadership (WIL) Foundation will be hosting a virtual leadership forum from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. PDT. As outlined on the event website, "Indigenous women leaders will share their stories and WIL shall share findings on some of our key research projects." Business and Employment Fair
The Okanagan School of Business and Student, Graduate, and Co-op Employment Centre will be hosting its 14th Annual Business Expo and Employment Fair on Wednesday, March 30, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. PDT. Start-up Success: The Gender Difference
The Conference Board of Canada will be holding a virtual panel session on Wednesday, March 30, from 8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. PDT to "discuss the unique challenges both men and women entrepreneurs face" when starting and building up their businesses.
