Successful Grant Writing Workshop
Learn more about the grant application process and how to put together a successful application in this online workshop offered by the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA), offered as part of its Tourism Resiliency Program. Tickets for the event, which takes place on Tuesday, March 15, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. PST, are $21 and can be purchased through the TOTA website.

OKGN Angel Summit: Finale Pitch Event
The OKGN Angel Summit Finale is set to take place virtually on March 16, from 4:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. PST. This year, the companies selected are working on solutions for everything from reducing waste and improving urban transportation to automation in the cannabis and retail industries.
In addition to seeing which pitching company wins the $150K investment, attendees will hear from Osoyoos Indian Band Chief, Clarence Louie, during his keynote speech as well as a fireside chat with local entrepreneurs Dan Martell and Renée Warren. Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite.
Town Hall: Mental Health at Work
On Thursday, March 17, B.C. Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, the Honourable Sheila Malcolmson, WorkSafeBC Chief Mental Health Officer, Dr. Ashley Spetch, and Canadian Mental Health Association of BC CEO, Jonny Morris, will lead this virtual town hall about workplace mental health, providing BC employers with information and tools they can use to support their teams. Career Development Webinar: One Woman's Journey to Leadership
The Women in Leadership Foundation (WIL) is welcoming guest speaker, IBM Client Engineering Manager, Renée Leclaire Smith, for this one-hour webinar on Tuesday, March 22.
