Speaker Series: How Diversity and Inclusion is Changing Sports

The Kelowna Chamber's next Speaker Series event is taking place on Wednesday, June 14, from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The in-person event, which is being held at the Coast Capri Hotel, will feature guest speaker, Darrien McWatters, a 2SLGBTQIA+ activist and Operations Director at TIME Family of Wines, who has also been working alongside organizations such as BC Hockey, Hockey Canada, and Advocacy Canada. DKA After 5

The final Downtown Kelowna After 5 before summer break is being hosted by our team at the Kelowna Visitor Centre on Wednesday, June 14. Join us along the waterfront promenade from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to network, take in the Kelowna views, and enjoy snacks from El Taquero Tacos & Tequila. Strong and Impactful: Leadership Practices for Women Business Owners

The final session in WeBC's 3-part series, Uncover Unconscious Bias to Become an Inclusive Leader, takes place on June 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Visit the WeBC website to learn more and to register for the virtual session. 


Honour, Reflect, Commit: Indigenous History Month Virtual Workshop

On Monday, June 19, in recognition of National Indigenous History Month and National Indigenous Peoples Day, the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA) will host a 3-hour workshop, with guest speaker Desiree Baker, to "share the history of Indigenous peoples of Canada." The virtual session, which costs $30 to attend, will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Registration for the webinar can be completed online.


ConneXpo 2023

Kelowna Chamber members and non-members are invited to ConneXpo 2023, comprising a tradeshow and expo, as well as networking. The event is being held in person at the Laurel Packinghouse on Wednesday, June 21, from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and are available through the Kelowna Chamber website
