Greater Westside Board of Trade Business After Hours

Join the Greater Westside Board of Trade (GWBT) at Wing's West Kelowna on Thursday, February 9, for their February Business After Hours event. From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., the event offers networking, local food and drink. and some great prizes. Tickets are $10 for members and $20 for non-members.


Lake Country Chamber of Commerce 2022 Business Excellence Awards

On Friday, February 10, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Lake Country Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 2022 Business Excellence Awards at Creekside Theatre. The "Nifty Bash" will celebrate the best of Lake Country businesses, and guests are encouraged to join in the fun of the '50s-style theme. How to Welcome LGBT+ Guests & Employees

Hoteliers and their team members are invited to join the BC Hotel Association (BCHA) on Wednesday, February 15, to "discover how to thoughtfully welcome the LGBT+ community to your property." During the free online session, which will take place at 1 p.m., Loren Christie, Director of Business Development & Strategy at Canada’s LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC), will deliver actionable tactics you can use. TIAC's Ask An Expert: Tell Stories, Reach Travellers

Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) members and associate members are invited to attend the organization's next Ask an Expert webinar, focusing on travel content marketing. Propel Student Work Placement Program Info Session

Employers are invited to join Tourism HR Canada to learn more about the Propel Student Work Placement Program, which is a wage subsidy program designed specifically for the tourism and hospitality sector.
