Disability and Inclusion Training for Small Business Employers

Join Small Business BC (SBBC) and ETHOS Career Management Group for this free webinar on Tuesday, February 27, from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Attendees will "gain practical insights into crafting inclusive job ads, adapting interview processes, and leveraging employment service providers for effective job coaching." Downtown Kelowna 'After 5'

GSL Group and the Kelowna Rockets are hosting the next Downtown Kelowna 'After 5' on Wednesday, February 28, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will take place at Prospera Place, offering the opportunity to network and socialize with fellow business and community members. Leap Day Coffee Social

Drop in for OYP Collective's monthly coffee social anytime between 8 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 29. The leap day event will occur at Accelerate Okanagan's lounge in the Innovation Centre. Admission to the event is free, though advance registration is recommended

GWBT Key Business Awards

The Greater Westside Board of Trade (GWBT) will announce the winner of its 22nd Annual Key Business Awards on Thursday, February 29, at an in-person presentation dinner at The Cove Lakeside Resort. The event is sold out, but stay tuned to GWBT's online channels for more information on the winners. 


2SLGBTQI+ Diversity & Inclusion Training

On Friday, March 1, Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA) and CGLCC are hosting an online session about how to create a welcoming and accessible workplace for 2SLGBTQI+ community members. Tickets are $25 (plus tax) and can be purchased online here


Capital Connections | International Women's Day Edition

Accelerate Okanagan (AO) and the National Angel Capital Organization invite community members to join them on Thursday, March 7, to celebrate women in technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and investing. Tickets for the event, which takes place at the Innovation Centre from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., are $30 (plus taxes & fees) for the general public and free for AO Members. Kelowna International Women's Day 2024

Join in the Kelowna celebrations for International Women's Day on Friday, March 8. The event will take place at the Innovation Centre, with a host of keynote speakers throughout the day-long event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission tickets are $79, with all profits being donated to Kelowna Gospel Mission - Women's Communities.
