Small Shop Weekend
Presented by the Downtown Kelowna Association (DKA), Small Shop Weekend is a three-day promotion, taking place from April 19 to 21, that celebrates and highlights the important role small businesses play in our community. Stop by the Kelowna Visitor Centre throughout the weekend for activations, including wine tastings on Saturday, April 20, and promotions on select retail items. Visit the DKA website to learn more.
Future Proofing the Okanagan
On Wednesday, May 1, UBC Okanagan (UBCO) and the Kelowna Chamber invite you to join them for an in-depth look at what is happening to 'future-proof' the Okanagan. UBCO faculty members will discuss how communities in the Okanagan can be more resilient in the face of ongoing climate change. Tickets for the event must be purchased before noon on Monday, April 29, 2024.
OC Cultivates: Tasting Festival and Innovators in Conversation
Join Okanagan College for OC Cultivates on Thursday, May 2. The in-person event includes a Tasting Festival presented by Argus Hospitality Group and a conversation between local innovators in the food, beverage, and tourism sectors. It will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Seating is limited, so secure your tickets through Eventbrite before they sell out.

Small Business BC (SBBC) regularly hosts live webinars and provides access to on-demand learning.
